“A Company of Voices” to re-air on KLRU
Tonight, Thursday, December 22, at 8 PM CST, KLRU 18-1 will rebroadcast “A Company of Voices: Conspirare in Concert,” the KLRU-TV produced Long Center program, also available on DVD, for which the 2009 Harmonia Mundi CD by the same title was nominated for a Grammy®. Bion Tsang appears as guest artist in three numbers, "Gabriel's Oboe," "Will There Really Be a Morning?" and "The Water is Wide." The program will air twice more through the night (1 AM and 4 AM).
“In Context” to re-air on KLRU
On Thursday, October 6, at 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 9, at 1:30 PM, KLRU 18-1 will rebroadcast “In Context Presents: Bion Tsang and Anton Nel.” The half-hour IN CONTEXT special was recorded in February 2010 in KLRU Studio 6A, home of the venerable live music series Austin City Limits. KLRU’s IN CONTEXT art series presents performances from some of Austin’s leading artists and cultural organizations. Bion and Anton perform music by Beethoven, Boccherini, Rachmaninov and Shostakovich.
